The food and service were great. Authentic Indian with nice spice levels. The seating area needs some upkeep and cleaning. I would suggest take out rather than eating there.

Food and service both were amazing! The Vijayawada Chicken Biryani was amazing and the portion size was phenomenal as well.

Location is on the outside, not sure if you're able to get in from inside the mall. But it's very good portion sizes. I got a rice bowl with chicken and vindaloo sauce - was spicy and good. It also comes with toppings which I thought was a good add to balance some of the flavors. We also got chili chicken and thought it was good, not too saucy but a bit tangy and spicy. My wife and her mom liked the masala dosa and chicken vindaloo dosa. They also got mango lassi and chai and said both were good. Service was good, around 10 min to get our food. Ambiance is meh.

I was really impressed with the authentic flavors of Chopati. We stopped by after a movie at AMC Tyson's and were really impressed with the dosas as well as the chili chicken. The chicken vindaloo inside my dosa was definitely spicy as advertised and packed a lot of heat. The chili chicken was well cooked with tender chicken and garlicky spicy flavor. We were impressed with the portion size of both dishes. I had a mango lassi as well which was much needed as my mouth was on fire after the spicy dosa lol. The service was quite prompt, we got our food after a 10-15 min wait and there was plenty of seating inside. It's more of a fast casual place with good options for both eat in and takeout. I definitely plan to come back in the future!

Delicious South Indian food, try the Rava Dosa! The Indian restaurant is tucked away from the main food court and the entrance is outside the mall right next door to Chipotle. This is the restaurant's 3rd location (there's a location in Ashburn and Gaithersburg). Chopathi Restaurant (translates to a thin whole wheat flatbread like Roti) is much more authentic with lots of Indian dishes than the busier Indian cozy fast food restaurant Cha Tea House on the other side of the mall near &pizza. Cha Tea House is a casual spot to grab a quick bite to eat with an Indian and American fusion concept with burgers, wraps, and bowls. Love coming here with my family and ordering a delightful feast! I'll dish it out: Rava Masala Dosa (5/5) - Crispy porous dosa with a side of mildly spicy potato was bursting with flavor (sometimes the masala potato filling comes on the side other times it's stuffed inside)! Note, you can't add onion to this dosa (the onion is a separate filling with Rava Onion Dosa). The proportion of filling to dosa was a little off and wish there was a bit more dosa and less filling. The sambar was a bit of a miss. Ask for the sweet Peanut Chutney and the tomato-based Malai Curry, which has a spicy kick and pairs well with the dosas. Rava Onion Dosa (4/5) - Crispy porous dosa is packed with a heap of onions. Wish there were 1/2 as much onions. Vada (5/5) - Savory crispy donut hit the spot. It was airy and not too dense. Gobi Manchurian (5/5) - Fried cauliflower battered in hot sauce has a spicy kick! The peanut sauce helps to cool off the heat! Mango Lassi (5/5) - Sweet and refreshing and thoroughly enjoyed down to the last sip. Samosa (3/5) - The 2 crispy samosas have a spicy kick! The sweet tamarind sauce and the peanut sauce are tasty. Palak Samosa Kati Roll (2/5) - The ginormous wrap was lukewarm and fell short. While I enjoyed the samosa and Malai curry, the ingredients in the wrap didn't blend well. The paneer was stiff and cold. I threw in the towel 1/2 through the wrap. Service is fantastic and truly elevates the experience, the staff members are very polite and I scored a delicious side of Peanut Chutney and Malai Curry, which keeps me coming back!

We opted to try this place over the usual's like chipotle and panda express. When we came in, we were a little puzzled by the menu but in talking to the staff, they said they could do a butter chicken. We ordered a butter chicken, two nan, one order of rice, and a chicken wrap. Everything was amazing! The wait did take a little while to get the food made, but that's because it is all fresh and being made from scratch. Yes, we will be going back. Do not let the dark windows and what looks like lack of window, decorations to fool you into thinking it's closed. Go ahead and try this place!

I think I came here on the 1st few days after opening. They have an expansive seating area inside and a small elevated outside seating at the entrance. Their outside signage is great, but blink and you will kiss it. It's tucked away between the bottom entrance and parking garage of the Tyson's mall. The food is good and theirs a lot of variety of a Indian foods. This is more of a fast casual place that has a multitude of dishes and drinks. Great spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the mall and get some filling food.
